Lumina is a Udaran Professor of Alternate Movement. She debuted as a walkaround character for the 2023 season.
Lumina was something of a prodigy within the ranks of the Udara, having caught the attention of the High Tinkers and Grand Engineers at a young age by successfully recreating a forgotten vehicle design just by working from an illustration in one of the Skyborne library's books. She also dabbles in Cosmogemy, the Udaran study of wind magic, and can often be seen carrying a Windicator, the wands used to manipulate air currents.
Trivia
- When Lumina debuted as a walkaround character in 2023, the wig used for the costume was a more understated whispy swirl style. This was replaced with an artwork accurate version the following year.
- Midway through the 2023 season, Lumina and Bardo occasionally wore rollerskate heels on their shows to "glide" across the pavement, with Lumina describing it as something she whipped up in the workshop. These were dropped for safety reasons the following season.
