The Lost Island Adventure Guide is the park's companion app, serving as a digital park guide and a platform for the park's storyline. A GPS component allows guests to log their activities throughout the park, unlocking achievements, avatars, and additional park lore within the app.
Sections
- Profile: Your user profile lets you keep track of your progress in the app. Experience points and levels are based on activity within the app's minigames or unlocking badges, treasures and avatars from your basic activity within the park.
- Play: This section contains minigames and a Camera frame.
- Quiz: A trivia challenge against other app users or bots representing various characters.
- Treasure Chase: Added in 2024, a Temple Run inspired game letting players find hints for Treasure locations in the park by playing as Bardo, Tunika, Kiku, and Kolvak.
- Realm Rascals: Added in 2024, an Angry Birds inspired game based on the park's blind-box collectible plush line of the same name. Players launch island creatures towards structures to destroy Volkanu's Stone Tikis and unlock Rascal-based avatars by collecting golden eggs.
- Story: The story section invites guests to take a part in the battle against the re-awakened Volkanu by joining one of the four elemental realms and exploring the park to awaken elemental powers to help defeat the lava demon (positioning Volkanu: Quest for the Golden Idol as its climax). Animated cutscenes for each of the realms tell their backstories (Aoka serving as a default narrator, while the realm you are currently aligned to is narrated by one of their respective guides). Guests can switch their realm faction at any time with no penalty, with certain Badge unlockable requirements encouraging switching around.
- Treasures: A GPS based scavenger hunt allows guests to piece together lore from the different realms. The original Legacy collection, divided into five pieces for each realm, consisted of the Shaman's Oath (Mura), Namua's Legacy (Yuta), Nika's Journal (Awa) and the Grand Engineer's Log (Udara), while the Bronze Treasures added in 2024 are divided into four pieces each, consisting of the Voltariz Days Event Schedule (Mura), the Spice Merchant's Ledger (Yuta), Mu's Fishing Log (Awa) and the Windicator Manual (Udara). A QR scan function added in 2024 ties into the Bronze Treasures set, with the park's characters carrying a code to scan once you've completed a task for them as well as the 2025 addition of a spicy food challenge based treasure hunt.
- Avatars: Unlockable avatars for your profile consisting of six villagers for each elemental realm, twenty Tamariki, and the nine Realm Rascals. Flavor text ranges from villager quotations, the titles of the Tamariki, and short biographies for the Rascals.
- Badges: Serving as an achievements system, badges can be pinned to your profile for added customization.
- Rides: A basic guide for the park's attractions with height requirements and restrictions.
- Leaders: A leaderboard keeping track of everyone's score from a daily to all-time basis.
