Lost Island has several playgrounds for children, as well as some interactive exhibits.
- Akua Maze - (Awa) water maze
- Aviarium - (Udara) kinetic "wind sculpture"
- Makatu Shrine (Mura) - a "hands on" display at the bottom of the volcano
- Playground (Awa) tiny playground near Thirsty Voyager (name unknown)
- Sand Castle - (Awa) hidden away behind Thirsty Voyager
- Pengali Ruin - (Yuta) a large sand dig box in front of the Totara Market.
- Tamikoa Grotto - (Tamariki) the largest play area in the park
